Aluminum Veneer series

Project explores the transformation of simple materials into valuable objects through creative and technical processes. Starting with scrap wood, we reveal its unique grain and texture through surface treatments. This texture surface is then transferred into aluminium (which is 100% recycled), an industrial material that serves as a vessel for the wood’s organic richness. This process of transmutation turns raw materials into unique pieces, challenging perceptions of their intrinsic value.

Bureau Parso is a collaborative practice Teo and sheyang, based in Eindhoven. They've been collaborating for 2 years so far. Without fixed roles, they work through continuous dialogue. Projects start from material, combining digital prototyping and casting, merging different logic with experimental processes shaped by iteration, mistakes, and adjustments.
