INVENTO SPIRIT

‘Invito Sprit’, a show organized by L&G Studio in collaboration with Danni Friedman, is a celebration of Cuban’s ingenious approaches to problem solving in the face of scarcity - often referred to as “invento”.

The work is a departure from L&G Studio's normal carefully-composed presentations in favor of more direct, resourceful, and, at times, whimsical approaches to creating - qualities they believe are important to consider as the world evolves and design shifts with it.

After experiencing this first hand at the immersive Havana Design Workshop 2018, L&G Studio compiled a curation of work that explores the possibilities of adaptive, improvisational creativity. They will be presenting works from 20+ designers from around the world who have created works that consider concepts of reuse, reinvention, and collaboration as virtues of design exploration.
