Traces

Inspired by Florida’s subtropical landscape, the exhibition explores nature as an agent in the artistic process. The objects, shaped by natural forms and textures emphasize the presence of the moment — the event and the sensation. Form and materiality are fluid, unfolding in a dynamic, evolving sequence of natural traces.

Featuring works by Arrived Aliens, Apollo Plants, Kristina Aksentova, and Joyce Billet, alongside Nine Fourteen vintage gallery, the exhibition invites us to experience the layered connections between materiality, memory, and the living essence of place.

Katerina Oleinikova and Denis Gomes, co-founded Arrived Aliens, an interior design studio focused on incorporating local environmental and cultural elements into bespoke designs. Our studio started with a shared approach to design — connecting projects conceptually with their site-specific context and searching for a unique language that evolves from meaning to form, texture, and color. We find inspiration in subtropical nature, reinterpreting found objects into custom furniture and ceramics, creating spaces and objects that reflect the essence of place.
