The pipeline project is a machine and a collection of furniture made from giant PVC pipes, a super cheap yet incredibly strong material. The objects on display all emerge from cylinders. Combining wood and plastics, the designs are simple, functional, affordable and durable. The machine that makes these products is also a mesmerizing element, adding performance to the act of production. The worldwide availability of PVC pipes allows for production to happen anywhere, limiting transport and therefore encouraging a more localized manufacturing.
