NEW CYCLE

With a look back, the Berlin design office LLOT LLOV looks ahead. They are creating a new cycle for their current collection. GLACIER is an ultra-modern terrazzo made from surplus nail polish bottles, lacquer, marble, concrete and fibre glass, which was further developed in pattern and colour in 2022. In cooperation with the German cosmetics brand Catrice from cosnova beauty, they process valuable waste into a high-quality material that is used for BASE side-table. Each table is one of a kind.

For the show installation in Milan New Cycle is one of the two rooms designed by LLOT LLOV for Alcova 2022, in which the two designers present another new project, also created in cooperation with Catrice and Trash2Treasure. Glass, matt make-up vessels are transformed into a chandelier. For this project, the old jars were reworked into an individual new lighting object. Together they form a large light body, which forms the centre of the room.
