A Room With A View
by Lemon
A Room with a View will debut at Alcova Milano 2025, staged across Villa Bagatti Valsecchi and Villa Borsani during Salone del Mobile. Curated by Lemon’s Creative Director Kevin Frankental, the installation explores what makes a space timeless, bridging past and present. Inspired by the grandeur of historic Italian villas, it invites visitors to experience new works in dialogue with their setting.
Lemon will unveil three collections: the Suspiria and Conservatory Collections by Turin-based designer Yaniv Chen, and the Keys Collection by Frankental. Marking Lemon’s first venture into outdoor furniture, the Conservatory Collection—including an Outdoor Dining Table, Chair, and Sun Lounger—nods to Josef Hoffmann’s 1905 designs, with thousands of delicate perforations allowing light to filter through. The Suspiria Collection features silk pendant and wall sconces anchored by onyx, inspired by Turin’s esoteric history. Frankental’s Keys Collection reinterprets early 20th-century design with a contemporary sensibility, balancing structure with Art Deco influences.
Lemon is founded on the vision of Creative Director Kevin Frankental, whose appreciation for design history shapes the brand’s approach. In a world where design often follows cycles of repetition, Lemon takes a different path. Rather than looking to what is new, the creative process begins in the archives—exploring historical references, film stills, art, fashion, and photography. These influences inform contemporary designs that subtly reference the past while remaining relevant today. Each piece is conceived with function and longevity in mind, evoking both nostalgia and romance.
