"Aviary & Arachne" weaves a mesmerizing tale of flight and fabrication, where the delicate artistry of birds’ nests meets the intricate precision of a spider’s web. Inspired by Greek mythology’s Arachne—the master weaver who challenged the gods—this exhibition transforms an exaggerated home space into a realm of entangled luxury, where collectible designs shimmer like spun silk and polished chrome. Here, curated objects perch like rare birds in a gilded aviary, while metallic threads and organic forms blur the line between the natural and the surreal, inviting guests into a world where craftsmanship and myth intertwine.
Jirah’s vision for + approach to design is intuitive and conceptual. Jirah uses the two main influences in his work— Ceremony and Set Design, to heighten the experience of the home or public space.
