Dekoriti TC
COLLECTIVE KOSOVO A group of Albanian designers making their debut at Milan Design Week 2025, presenting a diverse range of objects designed and crafted in Kosovo. The collective celebrates the country’s growing design scene, blending tradition, craftsmanship, and contemporary vision. Some pieces were developed through a program initiated by Dekoriti, focused on creating meaningful wooden works inspired by the raw, expressive forms of the Brutalist era.
AJO Mirror – Inspired by the Goddess on the Throne, a Neolithic figurine discovered near Prishtina dating back to 5700–4500 BC, this mirror pays tribute to women who uplift and inspire
LEKA Floor Lamp – Reinterpreting the traditional Albanian gourd - once used for bathing and daily rituals, into a handcrafted, sustainable lighting piece. Each lamp is grown, dried, and shaped over the course of a year in the designer’s family orchard, making every piece a unique expression of nature, heritage, and artistry. Brutalist Chair – A fusion of functional simplicity and raw aesthetics. Crafted from oak wood with geometric forms and classic joints, it embodies strength and authenticity through minimalist design. Designer: Emanuel Gjergji, Est. 2025 https://www.instagram.com/emanuel.gjergji_/
Forca e Fshehur – Crafted from 200-year-old local wood, this sculptural piece embodies resilience and the struggles of future existence. The raw, weathered material speaks of survival, memory, and strength, while its intersecting curvatures reflect the delicate balance between fragility and stability. Shaped by natural forces, it symbolizes the ongoing quest for harmony, echoing the region’s heritage while envisioning a future where tradition and innovation coexist. Erosion of Time – A visual metaphor for the unseen forces that shape our world—time, nature, and inner emotional realities. This artwork reminds us that nothing is truly permanent, and even the most powerful systems are destined to transform. It challenges our perception of stability, inviting reflection on the fragility of all we create. Designer: Zoe, Est. 2025 https://www.instagram.com/zoes_studio_art/
Stol Druri – A wooden bench with Brutalist influences, where simplicity and raw materiality come together to create a clear, functional form. Its structure highlights the connection between form and function through visible joinery, celebrating both craftsmanship and structural integrity.
