Design Signals Snapshot
by FABER
Design Signals Snapshot presents a selection of design works and research methods as a collective space of inquiry and critical design production emerging through the engagement of designers and researchers with Timisoara’s industrial and social ecosystems.
The exhibition explores design as a conduit for collaborative ventures that go beyond the confines of established factories’ parameters. While each project originates from a common research and production context, the works express diverse design languages, techniques, and media—ranging from physical products to industrial design processes, video, photography and graphic storytelling. The exhibition invites audiences to engage with both the design works and the perspectives of workers, researchers and designers who contributed to the projects.
Featuring works from past exhibitions ”Turn Signals - Design is not a Dashboard” and ”Woven Secrets”, the exhibition explores design as a language of transformation, with Timisoara’s industry as a starting point. By bringing these projects together, Design Signals Snapshot highlights design’s potential to reveal hidden connections, challenge perceptions, and propose alternative futures.
