FROZEN FOREST
by FAP CERAMICHE
FROZEN FOREST
This installation showcases a high-performance technological product: a 120x278 cm slab that looks like a mirror but is actually porcelain stoneware. Gemme Mirror Fade is a slab that combines the strength of ceramic with a reflective surface, gradually blending into an elegant and versatile mirror. The concept highlights the product’s qualities within its surroundings through reflections and mirror play. The design unfolds across multiple layers, from macro to micro, capturing not only the surroundings but also the people and movement within the space. The first layer features the backdrop: 5 slabs arranged in an arc, acting as a filter between reality and reflection, creating a dialogue between physical and virtual space.
The second layer consists of reflective volumes placed within the room, designed to capture and mirror key details. The third layer presents three mood boards, set on specially designed volumes, representing three interior design trends: Italianità, Japandi, and Colour Drenching. Through these settings, Fap’s new collections are presented in a way that captures the essence of contemporary design.
