Lines in Shadows

Lines in Shadows - evokes the deep calm of night, sharpening our senses through stillness and turning light into a fleeting metaphor. Inspired by the flowing essence of traditional landscape painting, the exhibition weaves slender lines, shadows, and materials into a gentle dialogue, creating a subtle tension between presence and absence.
Zhao Zihan(UNICOGGETTO) uses modern technology to reinterpret and break away from traditional furniture shapes, while Wei Xiaoyan employs Chinese craftsmanship, exploring themes of time and existence through handmade details and natural spontaneity. Together, their works form a delicate, almost intangible narrative: Wei’s organic textures contrast Zhao’s algorithmic precision, yet they achieve harmony through the quiet language of light and shadow. Material boundaries dissolve softly, leaving lines to drift between brightness and darkness, tracing the quiet folds of culture.
The exhibition features chairs, lighting, mirrors, and installations, filling the space with layers of calm, and revealing the understated beauty of shadow and silence.
