Liquid Landscapes
by OOG OBJECTS
The room exists in a state of transitional space where movement shapes perception. The exhibition itself is experienced through the periphery of its visitors' vision, revealing itself in fragments.
Each object within the collection distorts the classic form of the amphora, embracing fluidity over rigidity. Every piece possesses its own distinct shape— no two are alike, yet together they compose a landscape, an assemblage of singularities in quiet dialogue.
At the heart of the collection is the Leaves Collector—a vessel of duality, existing between presence and absence, object and backdrop. As a crafted artifact, it stands complete on its own. Yet, when holding a flower, it dissolves into its role—a silent stage for the ephemeral cycle of life. Its wide, rounded collar gathers what time lets fall: leaves, petals, traces of what once was. The vase becomes a frame, embracing imperfection and the quiet poetry of descent.
The core of the collection consists of original OOG Objects, followed by fluid forms that reinterpret their essence. Together, they create an ensemble— a fluid landscape of glass, where each object contributes to a shared narrative of transformation and ephemerality.
OOG Objects is a design practice dedicated to exploring the artistry of glass in everyday objects. "OOG" references the archival coding of glassware, emphasizing craftsmanship, materiality, and timeless design.
Led by Alicja Hajkowicz-Rudzka, OOG Objects reflects her research-driven approach to form, culture, and material expression. Educated at Politecnico di Milano, the Oslo School of Architecture, and Warsaw University of Technology, she works across art installations, architecture, and object design. She sees design as an exploration of the unknown, where research and intuition merge to create meaningful pieces.
