Source Édition

by Source Édition

In April 2025, Source Édition will debut its first collection at Alcova, dedicated to the faithful reissue of iconic furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1950s to 1970s. A key part of this inaugural collection is the collaboration with Mobilier national, France’s leading historical governmental institution for design preservation, which has helped bring André Monpoix’s seating, originally designed for Simone Veil’s office as Minister of Health, and Turenne Chevallereau’s modular tables back into production. These two historically significant pieces form the core of the collection.
The collection is enriched by Ben Swildens’ multifunctional lamp, Claude Courtecuisse’s sculptural porcelain vase, and the wooden benches and stools by Giuseppe Rivadossi. Together, these pieces embody a commitment to heritage, exceptional craftsmanship, and sustainable production, offering a contemporary take on mid-century design while ensuring its enduring legacy.

Source Édition revives landmark designs from the 1950s to 1970s, faithfully reissuing furniture, lighting, and accessories in collaboration with original designers or their estates.
Founded by Isabelle de Ponfilly and Joséphine Bursacchi, this mother-daughter venture blends strategic expertise with deep artistic sensibility.
Partnering with Mobilier national, France’s historical prestigious governmental institution dedicated to preserving design heritage, Source Édition ensures authenticity and excellence. Each piece is produced in Europe using sustainable, high-quality materials, bridging past and present with authenticity and contemporary relevance.
