tale of : Soft Steel
by Basetale

We expect you to feel all the ray of emotions. Intentionally presenting the complexity of things in a simple and joyful way.
In the world where injustice, war and brutality surrounds us we can not separate ourselves from politics, art is serving as form of expression of reality. In the world of "metals" we bring in the softness of threads looping them around cold material and changing its characteristic from unwelcoming to soft and nostalgic.
The intention was to create the contrast between metal and something soft. the warmest thing we remember from childhood is fluffy blankets neatly washed and ironed by granny. These blankets were characterized by a cutout in the middle, surrounded by delicate flower stitching. The steel objects are crafted in a true limited edition format, with each product individually produced and numbered.
Designers based in Tbilisi, Georgia, Tinatin Dzirkvadze and Iki Antelava have been
