FORGET - ME - NOT
by PICCOLI SMALTI
Forget Me Not is a capsule collection celebrating contemporary femininity in all its contrasts: sensual
and ironic, fragile yet powerful, spiritual and earthly. Inspired by the archetype of the mother goddess as a
universal symbol of creation and rebirth, the project explores womanhood today as both memory and
transformation. The collection is crafted in close collaboration with Italian artisans, reinterpreting ancient techniques such as fire enamel cloisonné́, earth-cast bronze, and Murano blown glass. These timeless crafts, renewed in a contemporary key, become poetic rituals and symbolic altars — intimate manifestos embodying strength, delicacy, and irony. At Alcova Miami, Forget Me Not will take the form of a contemporary peep show installation: through small apertures , visitors will be invited into an intimate and secretive act of discovery. Objects appear as fragments of memory and rebirth, creating a personal yet universal journey, bridging female identity and the enduring legacy of Italian cultural craftsmanship.
