River Inn
437 SW 2nd St, Miami, FL 33130, USAAlcova Miami is open from December 2 to 7, during Miami Art Week 2025.
Within the frame of the picturesque Miami River Inn, the city’s oldest hotel, located in the South River Drive Historic District of East Little Havana, Alcova Miami presents the works of over 40 international designers.
Alcova Miami 2024 was met with enthusiasm both for the quality of the projects presented and the atmosphere of the venue itself. Tucked among palm trees and tropical vegetation, the Miami River Inn carves a quiet pocket of space amid the intensity of Miami Art Week, a little oasis where time seems to slow down, and open up for direct encounters in a setting that feels calm and protected. The historic location, a cluster of pastel-colored mansions built in 1908 as a Victorian boarding house, will once again host a variety of projects and site-specific installations interacting with the venue’s distinctive features.
Alcova Miami 2025 hosted a daily afternoon program of design talks curated by Space Caviar and Studio Vedèt, taking place in the plaza of the Miami River Inn, in the frame of the installation "Garden Game" by Haworth x Patricia Urquiola. The program, in collaboration with various cultural partners, explored new cultural horizons beyond Miami Beach and new frontiers in design. The Meet the Designers series invited some of Alcova’s participants to share insights into their work.
