Lyra

by Stephanie Lin / Present Forms

The Lyra Welcome Desk creates a warm arrival for visitors to Alcova Miami through bold gestures of materiality and form. Imagined as both an object and an atmosphere, the installation choreographs a dynamic interplay of color, light, and moiré pattern that is at once vibrant and nuanced. Named after the celestial constellation and ancient string instrument, Lyra serves as a point of navigation and the beginning of a spatial sequence within the Alcova Miami experience.
