ARCHETYPE
by KOD.objects
A window is more than an opening — it is a cultural code embedded in architecture.
ARCHETYPE explores the form of window openings in 16th–17th century stone architecture. The project begins with the observation of historical windows, whose silhouettes and proportions are translated into a system of layered graphic contours. The arch is placed within a rectangular field, where repeating lines create a sense of depth, as if the space of the window unfolds from the surface of the wall.
Even when simplified, the form retains its cultural memory. ARCHETYPE reflects on how architectural elements can be translated into a universal visual language while preserving traces of their historical and cultural origin.
KOD.objects is a design lab grounded in the research of architectural archetypes and the cultural memory of form.
Its projects are built on formal reduction, structural logic, and material honesty. Cultural context is approached not as stylization, but as a structural foundation of the work.
The objects of KOD.objects exist at the intersection of architecture, product design, and research practice. Here, form operates as a system capable of preserving cultural depth while remaining present within contemporary space.
The lab’s work is oriented toward durability, structural clarity, and the long-term value of form.
