Femetality

This project invites you into a world where playfulness is extracted from a material often perceived as rigid and unforgiving: metal. Mostly being a male dominated profession, MARUXI and FENNA bring out the sensitivity one is able to have with this material and the versatility it can bring. From drawing and extruding worlds out of the welding machine to the rawness of texture one is able to extract, Maru and Fenna invite you to the microscopic and interactive world that goes beyond your regular steel.

Fenna Kosfeld (b. 1999) is a German-born artist and material explorer based between Germany and Barcelona. Her practice spans sculpture, light, and experimental materials, exploring ecological entanglements. Working with charred matter, metal, and biopolymers, she transforms materials into poetic works, guided by hands-on experimentation and an evolving, intuitive studio ecosystem.
