FETISHMORPHY OBJECT
by SEXAC STUDIO - Štefan Sekáč
FETISHMORPHY Objects is Stefan Sekáč’s latest series, exploring the boundary between art and design. The collection moves from strict symmetry to expressive, intuitive modeling through dynamic lines and biomorphic forms. Ephemeral, fragile moments are transformed into durable porcelain objects, capturing fleeting gestures in time.
Sekáč experiments with glazes and titanium metallic coatings, producing iridescent surfaces that resemble metal while preserving the delicacy of porcelain. The objects function as vases but transcend their traditional role, becoming spatial fragments that subtly disperse in space. They engage with perception, visual allure, and contemporary cultural contexts, inviting reflection, emotion, and personal interpretation from the viewer.
Stefan Sekáč is a Slovak artist working primarily with porcelain and ceramics. His practice focuses on experimentation with material and technological processes while exploring the relationship between contemporary culture, trends, and pop visual language. His balloon-inspired objects transform ephemeral forms into durable porcelain, reflecting themes of desire and visual attraction in contemporary society.
