Inframezzo

Inframezzo recognises the intermezzo as a structural condition unfolding across design, learning, and daily life. More than a theatrical pause, it is a moment of recalibration: a space where individual and collective rhythms intersect, and observation becomes participation.

Recent alumni projects from Design Academy Eindhoven are presented in a collective scenography that foregrounds this interval as both lived necessity and design strategy. The works engage material, social, and ecological conditions as open to reflection and intervention, proposing shifts in how these are understood and inhabited.

Inframezzo names a space of possibility: a pause that redistributes action, where agency and conviviality can be rehearsed and claimed.
