INTERVENTION ONE

Intervention One is a sequence extending through the threshold of the former Baggio hospital. The work is constructed from buttoned metal plates and silicone facial elements. Positioned as a functional addition to the architecture, the installation refers to the site’s history of clinical treatment and the presence of unknown individuals. Mounted and illuminated, the object occupies the space between interior and exterior.
STUDIO EXXX, founded by Jonathan Falk and Christian Kennecke, focuses on human-matter interaction, investigating the perception of collective conventions. Their work functions as a visual reportage, revealing overlooked narratives that reflect wider social tendencies. The studio reflects on inherited frameworks that influence how we engage with our material surroundings.
