Spring Blooms Are Made in Winter.
by Georgiev Kiril
What does it take for a flower
to prepare its new blooms?
And who says that blooms are soft?
When they’re forged in winter cold.
Crystalized, wrecked.
Bursting, defrosting.
Spring.
Blooms; finally. And cold sweat.
Breath of spring,
like a frozen chicken taken out of the fridge.
Memories of flowers
tasting similar, but never the same.
Summer, Autumn, Winter. Never mind.
Deep defrost.
