Sunken Experiment: Unearthed Algorithms explores authorship, replication, time, and memory. Set in a speculative future, the installation unfolds as the discovery of a long-abandoned laboratory submerged by seawater. Within this excavated site, luminous forms cluster across eroded architectural surfaces. Produced through iterative robotic-arm 3D printing, each object records micro-variations shaped by code, material behavior, and environmental conditions. Printed parameters appear as “artificial DNA,” reframing replication as temporal inscription and fabrication as a dispersed, post-human authorship.
We focus on design, technique, and sustainability, using repurposed industrial robots to reshape FDA-friendly materials into beautiful, practical furnishings and installations. Our goal is to showcase the texture and layer-by-layer character of this unique process through design, robotics, and craftsmanship.
