Within Limits, a collection shaped by industrial waste
by Offsite
Offsite presents Within Limits, a collection shaped by industrial waste streams. Each project starts with waste from a specific industry and is developed with an industrial partner, sometimes alongside invited designers. Offcuts, rejected parts and leftovers are translated into objects with a clear production logic, moving from small runs to scalable series. Within Limits positions waste as a starting point for scalable design, where constraints steer decisions and open new possibilities. The result connects industry with creative practice, showing that what already exists can drive new forms, with material transparency down to the gram.
Offsite is a design label based in Eindhoven, turning industrial waste into furniture and objects. Products are developed with industrial partners and designers, built for repair and disassembly, with transparent material ratios per piece. Offsite works toward system change where waste becomes input of scalable production.
