The Waiting Room

The Waiting Room is a presentation exploring pause, transition, and possibility through responsive, modular furniture. The project includes an accent chair, transformable daybed, and customizable rug, each conceived as a flexible system capable of shifting form, function, and scale. Chair 01 pairs an exposed chromed steel frame with transparent resin elements, joined by custom-engineered connections that reveal its structure. Lounge 01 fluidly shifts between a bench and lounge, adapting its form through a simple movement. Rug 01 is composed of modular sections joined with leather straps and chromed hardware, forming a reconfigurable surface. Together, the pieces emphasize adaptability and interaction, inviting transformation and evolving use.
